Rai (b. 2003) is a multidisciplinary artist based in New York, London, and Karachi. Working across video, poetry, performance, and film. Their art builds over time, layering personal memories, affective image worlds, and intimate archives to explore how we make sense of annihilation, existence, abjection, rupture, and ontological erasure. Rai is currently an MFA candidate in Visual Arts at Columbia University.
